Week 3
This week for reading we are going to focus on the idea that “reading is thinking”. The words and the picture makes a story, but the reader brings it to life. Children need to think while they are reading and they need to think about the stories after they are finished. This week we are focusing on 2 FLs:

Answer questions that are “right there” in the book and easy to find.

Do about 20 minutes of reading each day.
Listen to a Read Aloud.
Read independently and then to a grownup. Continue using the skills that were covered last week. Go to Reading Lessons for more information.
